Meet the Teachers

My name is Miss Pounder and I am the class teacher. This year in Acorns, I am supported by Mrs Dean (Class TA). My PPA time will be covered by Mrs Alvarez.

I am new to teaching in schools but have taught swimming for 7 years and I am excited to start my transition into classroom teaching. I live in the beautiful countryside with my family and two crazy dogs, Charlie and Tiger. In my spare time I like to do lots of sporty things such as outdoor swimming, mountain walks with my dogs and finding new places to explore. My favourite subjects are Maths and PE but I am looking forward to learning and exploring in Forest School with Mrs Smith.
