MISS CAVANEY CHALLENGES YOU!

Whilst we are at home we need to make sure that we are looking after ourselves? What is good for our body? Can you make a list of all of the different things?

One of the things that is good for us is healthy eating. We talked about this at school. Should I eat the crisps or the apple?

I have set you two tasks on Purple Mash. Completing the fruit jigsaw and drawing a healthy meal. If you cannot access Purple Mash then email school for your password.

Challenge: Can you recognise numbers to 10? Can you recognise numbers to 20?

Watch the video to learn how to play matching pairs. Have fun!

Afterwards you can practise ordering the numbers.

Challenge: Make a spring picture. Watch the video of me and get instructions on how to complete the challenge.

Have a look at some of the pictures created by the children in BYT.

Hello to all Parents,

The Acorns team would like to welcome you to our Class page. You will find lots of information on this page from our class newsletters to our topic webs, we will also share with you our learning in pictures so that you can see what has been happening. Learning links are available at the bottom of the page.  For more information about our Foundation Unit please see your welcome booklet.  Enjoy!

Meet the Teachers

My name is Miss Cavaney and I have been a teacher for eleven years.  I have predominately worked in the Early Years but also have experience of working with children with SEND.  I love teaching and spending time with my little boy.

This year in Acorns, we are supported by Alex Alvarez (Class TA) and Jill Smith (supporting School Readiness and Nurture). My PPA and Management Time will be covered by Mr Burke.
