Meet the Teachers
Hello! I’m Rebekah Fielding and the class teacher for Acorns. This is my sixth year at St Paul’s as Assistant Headteacher, and I’m loving working here. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy walking and running! I am very excited to be teaching the children in Acorn’s and will work hard to ensure we all have an enjoyable and productive year.
This year in Acorns, we are supported by Alex Alvarez (Class TA), Jill Smith (supporting School Readiness and Nurture) and Claire Howarth (SEND support). My management time will be covered by Miss Alvarez.

Spring 2 – Learning all about mini-beasts.
We have been busy with paper mache. After learning lots of information about mini-beasts we made them. Here are a couple for you to have a look at.
We have enjoyed our Spring 1 topic ‘Hot and Cold’. We learnt about animals that love the cold when we read ‘Penguin Small’ and animals that like the hot weather. We read and wrote our own versions of the story ‘We’re going on a Lion Hunt’. We also loved finding out about Chinese New Year celebrations. The children enjoyed dressing up in Chinese clothes, visiting our Chinese restaurant role play, dragon dancing, making masks and lanterns and learning how to use chopsticks!
