Online Reading Sessions – Lancashire Adult Learning

Lancashire Adult Learning has developed 3 themed sessions based around World Book Day for parents/ carers and their children to sign up to, have some fun and hopefully ignite or further develop a passion for reading. Resource packs for these sessions will be posted direct to families once enrolled on the course.

KS1- Monsters, Dinosaurs and Poop!

Thurs 4th March 1pm-2:30pm

Join us for a special World Book Day themed session based on two books by ‘the author of the moment’: Tom Fletcher. Expect monsters, dinosaurs and poop! (yes, we did write that!).

This fun, online session has been created so that you can listen to the stories together and carry out fun craft activities from home; as well as top tips on how you can help your child develop their reading skills.

KS2- The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse (Art, Illustrations, storyboards and more!)

Thurs 4th March 1pm-2:30pm

Join our family learning team and a professional artist and learn as a family the art of illustration, story boards, journaling and more!

World Book Day for all- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Saturday 6th March 1-2:30pm

Join us as a family for a super-tastic trip around Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Look out for the golden ticket, pop into the invention room, and create some phizz-whizzing craft creations of your own!
