Worship
Every day we have an act of worship, which is centered upon our value of the half term:
Monday- Worship is led by Key Stage leaders.
Tuesday- We invite Rev Chris from St Paul’s Church or Jess from Goodshaw Baptist Church into school.
Wednesday- We have worship in class.
Thursday- We learn new songs for worship.
Friday- We enjoy celebration worship.
We also enjoy the No Limits Puppet Team and Open Book visits once each half term to bring us a Bible story or Biblical themed worship.
Our Worship leaders evaluate worship, liaise with Reverend Chris to help plan worship and support the daily acts of worship with prayers and their choice of songs and hymns.
We also lead worship based on World Events.
Our Reflection Area
The children enjoyed creating a reflection area during our spirituality week in the Summer term. The children wanted to create an area where they can reflect and pray
Prayer
At St Paul’s prayer is an important and valued part of our school life. The children are encouraged to write their own prayers and place them on the central prayer tree. Prayers are then read each Thursday during worship by members of the worship team. We collect our prayers in half termly reflection books.
